Instructions for deleting your Mail To Future account and associated data

Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Mail To Future account and all associated data. Please note that this action is irreversible and will result in the permanent loss of all your time capsules and scheduled deliveries.

⚠️ Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your time capsules, scheduled messages, and personal data will be permanently removed.

🗑️ Delete from the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app:

  1. Open the Mail To Future app on your device
  2. Tap the Profile tab from the bottom navigation bar
  3. Find the Account section and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted

If you're unable to access the app or your account, you can request deletion by email using the contact information below.

What Happens When You Delete

🗑️ Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Your account information (email, profile)
  • All time capsules you've created
  • All scheduled messages and deliveries
  • Photos, videos, and media files
  • Recipient information
  • App settings and preferences

📋 Data That May Be Retained

  • Purchase and billing records (required by law)
  • Transaction history for accounting purposes
  • Security and fraud prevention logs (limited period)
  • Anonymized analytics data

Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please send us a message from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
